29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury: (a) On or about February 10, 2014, Watershed Construction, as the exposing employer, did not ensure that its employees were using eye and face protection when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury. Employees of Watershed Construction were observed nailing shingles on a residential roof, using a pneumatic gun, without any eye or face protection, exposing employees to eye or face injury. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").

Employees of Watershed Construction were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 6 feet while engaged in roofing activities on the roof of a residential building with no fall protection in place. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
