29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling:  (a)         Building 3, Suite 1003-1003A;  An APC Network AIR 100 air conditioner was plugged into a relocatable power tap, violating the power taps UL listing and labeling. The UL listing states that relocatable power taps are designed for low amperage computer and audiovisual types of equipment, and not appliances.  This exposes employees to possible electrical fire hazards.   (b)          Building 3, Suite 1003-1003A;  A Kenmore refrigerator was plugged into a relocatable power tap, violating the power taps UL listing and labeling. The UL listing states that relocatable power taps are designed for low amperage computer and audiovisual types of equipment, and not appliances.  This exposes employees to possible electrical fire hazards.    The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration was previously cited for a violation of this standard which was contained in OSHA inspection no.  906829 citation 2, item 4, issued on June 4, 2013 with respect to a workplace at Pasco, Washington.  The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration was previously cited for a violation of this standard which was contained in OSHA inspection no. 915685 citation 1, item 1, issued on July 26, 2013 with respect to a workplace at Long Beach, California.  The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration was previously cited for a violation of this standard which was contained in OSHA inspection no. 915443 citation 1, item 2, issued on August 9, 2013 with respect to a workplace at Long Beach, California.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(4): Signs were not posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge when the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge was not immediately apparent:  a)  Suite 1003A;  An exit sign was not in the line of sight in the media workspace.  b)  Suite 1003:  An exit sign was not over the door which lead to an exit corridor. There were multiple doors in the work space.  c)  Suite 1003;  A directional sign was not on the east wall, directing employees and visitors to the nearest exit.
