29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one-fourth inch: (a) Tool room: The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery and the adjustable tongue at the top of the Craftsman pedestal grinder on the right side was one-half inch, and thus exceeded one-fourth inch, on or about 2-26-14. (b) Tool room: The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery and the adjustable tongue at the top of the Rockwell pedestal grinder 138 on the right side was three-fourths inch, and thus exceeded one fourth-inch, on or about 2-26-14. (c) Tool room: The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery and the adjustable tongue at the top of the Rockwell pedestal grinder 438 on the left side was one three-fourths inch, and thus exceeded one-fourth inch, on or about 2-26-14.
