Employees were working from a man made scaffold with a single plank which measured approximately 2 feet wide and 8 feet long.

29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(1)(ii): Stairways having four or more risers or rising more than 30 inches (76 cm), whichever is less, were not equipped with a stairrail system along each unprotected side or edge: (a) Stairway, new residential construction located at 2603 Cashel Lane SW, Powder Springs, GA.: Employees used a stairway with no stair rails to access the second floor exposing employees to falls to lower levels. The stairway was 16 risers high with the top landing height at approximately 12 feet from the ground floor.
