29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift: The employer does not ensure that a body belt is worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. This violation was observed on or about February 28, 2014, on the northeast side of the jobsite where an employee was exposed to a fall hazard when installing plastic trim from an aerial lift without a fall protection system. Pursuant to 29 C.F. R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that a body belt is worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. The employer does not ensure that each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet or more above a lower level is protected from falling. This violation was observed on or about February 28, 2014, on the northeast side of the jobsite where an employee was exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet when installing plastic trim without a fall protection system. Pursuant to 29 C.F. R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet or more above a lower level is protected from falling.
