29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:    a)     On or about February 28, 2014, the exposing employer, J&R Roofing, did not ensure employees, who were required to operate pneumatic nail guns while engaged in re-roofing operations, were adequately protected from eye and/or face injuries.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     a)     On or about February 28, 2014, the exposing employer, J&R Roofing, did not ensure employees, who were required to engage in re-roofing operations on a three-story, 6/12 pitched, residential roof, were protected from exposure to fall hazards of approximately 30 feet.     J&R ROOFING WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) OR ITS EQUIVALENT WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION 949206, CITATION 1, ITEM 1, ISSUED DECEMBER 26, 2013, WITH RESPECT TO THE WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 1521-1527 DAWSON BUTTE WAY, CASTLE ROCK, COLORADO  80109.  THE CITATION BECAME FINAL ON FEBRUARY 19, 2014.  THE FINAL ABATEMENT DATE FOR THIS CITATION WAS JANUARY 15, 2014.
