29 CFR 1910.95(d)(1): When information indicated that any employee's exposure equaled or exceeded the 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels, the employer did not develop and implement a monitoring program: (a) T-nutting area: On or about 6/17/14, employees installing T-nuts were exposed to noise levels of 88.4dBA, 90.1 dBA, and 92.4 dBA as 8-hour time-weighted averages (TWA). These exposures are above the OSHA Action Level for noise which is 85 dBA as an 8-hour TWA. The employer had not monitored this job operation or otherwise implemented a monitoring program to determine the employees' noise exposures.
