29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Waste Water Treatment: The employer failed to ensure that a shower unit was available for employees exposed to materials such as, but not limited to, AM Tech V-12. Employees were exposed to chemical burns to the skin and eyes from contact with the material containing potassium hydroxide while performing assigned duties involving press roller cleaning.
