29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): An employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On or about March 4, 2014, and at times prior to that date, for an employee exposed to an approximate 30-foot fall hazard while cutting ridge vents on the roof of a newly constructed apartment complex with a 6/12 pitch roof at 621 42nd Street East, Williston, North Dakota.
