29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): 29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): A continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.95(c) through (n) was not instituted when employee noise exposures equaled or exceeded an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA) sound level of 85 dBA: a) On 3-5-14, A worker was exposed to an 8 hour time weighted average noise level of 89.5 dba, in excess of the 85 dba action level, while grinding on steel. b) On 3-5-14, A worker was exposed to an 8 hour time weighted average noise level of 87.0 dba, in excess of the 85 dba action level, while grinding on steel. An effective hearing conservation program which included offering hearing protection, noise monitoring, audiometric testing, training of employees, and posting of the hearing conservation standard was not fully implementred.
