29 CFR 1926.652(g)(2): Excavations of earth material to a level greater than 2 feet (.61m) below the bottom of a shield was permitted: Work-site located at 1001 W Edmond, Rd. Edmond, OK 73034. On or about March 5, 2014, the excavated earth material was found to extend greater than 2 feet from the bottom of the protective shield system. The employee(s) were exposed to engulfment and/or crushing hazard(s).
