29 CFR 1926.451(b)(2): Except as provided in paragraphs (b)(2)(i) and (b)(2)(ii) of this section, each scaffold platform and/or walkway was not at least 18 inches (46 cm) wide: On or about March 03, 2014, on the second level of a construction building two employees were doing welding operations while standing on the midrail of two separate Genie scissor lifts in the following instances: a) Along the north center edge area on the second level of a construction building, an employee was welding metal joists into place while standing on the midrail of a Genie scissor lift. b) Along the north west corner edge area on the second level of a construction building, an employee was welding metal joists into place while standing on the midrail of a Genie scissor lift.
