29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents.   On or about March 7, 2014 at a residential structure located at 14025 Overcreek, Woodlands Edge, Little Rock, AR 72221, the employer did not ensure an employee framing a residential structure was properly protected by the use of safety glasses while using the pneumatic nail gun. The employee was observed/exposed to eye impalement hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b).   On or about March 7, 2014, at a residential structure located at 14025 Overcreek, Woodlands Edge, Little Rock, AR 72221, the employer did not ensure employees were using personal fall arrest systems while working on residential structure framing. An employee was observed/exposed to fall hazards of greater than 10 feet to unfinished ground below.

On or about March 7, 2014 at residential structure located at 14025 Overcreek, Woodlands Edge, Little Rock, AR 72221, the employer did not ensure employees were properly trained in construction fall hazard safety while working on residential construction. Employees were observed/exposed to fall hazards greater than 10 feet to unfinished ground below.
