Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.605(d)(2): The employer did not ensure that there was in the vicinity of each barge in use, at least one U.S. Coast Guard-approved 30-inch lifering with not less than 90 feet of line attached: a) Barge 107 - Employees were observed working from the deck and the lifering was only provided with 50 feet of line, on or about 03/10/2014. Marine Technologies, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.106(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 309733038, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on December 15, 2009, with respect to a workplace located at Eastbound, Bent #45 Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
