Struck-by, caught-in, amputation hazards- OSHA received a complaint stating that Coastal machine & mechanical was operating lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and band saw that were not guarded or not properly guarded. The CSHO found that the Hydro jet water cutting machine was not adequately guarded at the point of operation, exposing employees to struck-by/caught-in-between and amputation hazards. b. Struck-by, caught-in, amputation hazards- OSHA received a complaint stating that Coastal machine & mechanical was operating lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and band saw that were not guarded or not properly guarded. The CSHO found that the DC Morrison key way cutting machine was not adequately guarded at the point of operation, exposing employees to struck-by/caught-in-between and amputation hazards. c. Struck-by, caught-in, amputation hazards- OSHA received a complaint stating that Coastal machine & mechanical was operating lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and band saw that were not guarded or not properly guarded. The CSHO found that the Lucas horizontal boring machine model #42 serial number 42-16-9 machine was not adequately guarded at the point of operation, exposing employees to struck-by/caught-in-between and amputation hazards. d. Struck-by, caught-in, amputation hazards- OSHA received a complaint stating that Coastal machine & mechanical was operating lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and band saw that were not guarded or not properly guarded. The CSHO found that the Knuth milling machine model MF5V serial number 1193 machine was not adequately guarded at the point of operation, exposing employees to struck-by/caught-in-between and amputation hazards. e.
