29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:        The employer did not ensure that the eyewash unit and/or the quick drenching unit were available in the immediate work area of the Pickling department, and inspected regularly to ensure proper function.  Employees tasked with adding corrosive chemicals such as, Sulfuric acid or Sodium Hydroxide to tanks during processing of coiled steel were exposed to a potential splash hazard.

29 CFR 1910.179(b)(6)(ii): Where passageways or walkways were provided, obstructions were so placed that the safety of personnel was jeopardized by movements of crane(s):        On or before 02/12/2014, employees tasked with adding chemicals to tanks in the Pickling department were exposed to struck-by hazards from the cab-operated overhead bridge crane. The employer did not clearly and specifically delineate an area where employees could safely use the chemical totes, when refilling the tanks.
