29 CFR 1910.1026(i)(4)(i): Employees were allowed to consume food or beverages at a worksite where chromium (VI) was present; however, the employer did not ensure that the eating and drinking areas were maintained as free as practicable of chromium (VI): a) Building P -2050, on or about 3/10/14: A housekeeping program was not implemented to maintain surfaces free as practicable of hexavalent chromium contamination in areas where food is consumed including, but not limited to, the break room across from the production control office. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
