29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: On or about March 10, 2014, the employer required the use of tight-fitting half-faced respirators while cutting up air conditioners, but had not developed and implemented a written respiratory protection program. Elements of a written respiratory program include, but are not limited to, medical evaluations for employees required to use respirators, annual fit testing for tight fitting respirators, training in use and care of respirator, and a change-out schedule for respirator cartridges.
