29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent): a) On or about March 12, 2014, and at times prior, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 50 feet in the west concrete house, where an open-sided floor above the boot pit did not have guard rails in place at the end of the walkway leading to the octopus level. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
