29 CFR 1926.304(d): All portable, power-driven circular saws were not equipped with a guard that; when the tool was withdrawn from the work the lower guard did automatically and instantly return to the covering position: (a) 2 Wisteria Ln East Longmeadow, MA: On or about March 11, 2014, the lower blade guard on the Makita brand circular saw was wired fixed in the open position so as to render the blade unguarded, which is not in accordance with this subpart: Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
