29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) 514 East Beaver Street State College PA - Employee was observed applying a ridge vent on the roof without the benefit of a fall protection system, thereby exposing employees to a fall of approximately 10 to 12 feet to the ground below, on or about March 7, 2014. No abatement certification or documentation required.
