29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. Site - Employees were not protected form falls of approximately 12 feet while traveling between the work area and the access point approximately 150 feet away, at times carrying full sheets of plywood, when fall protection was not used. Mark Carrier Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311588693, citation number 001, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/30/2009 with respect to a workplace located at 88 Commercial St. in Manchester, NH.
