29 CFR 1910.179(j)(1)(ii): The employer did not perform frequent and periodic inspections for cranes in regular use as defined in paragraphs (a) and (b) of this section: On or about March 13, 2013 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure frequent and periodic inspections of the cranes were performed on the following cranes: a) Acculift 2 ton bridge crane located in the north end of the shop, b) Stahl 3 ton bridge crane located in the south end of the shop. Employees were exposed to the hazard of being crushed by a falling load.
