29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(5): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged, or marked with the identity and appropriate hazard warnings regarding the chemicals contained therein: The employer does not ensure that all chemicals in the workplace are labeled, tagged, or marked with the identity and hazard warning of those chemicals. This violation occurred on or about March 11, 2014, in the facility where two 55 gallon drums containing what was believed to be used oil was being stored without a label or markings as to the chemicals identity or hazard warnings. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that all chemical containers in the workplace are labeled with the identity and appropriate hazard warnings of the chemicals therein.
