29 CFR 1926.28(a): Appropriate personal protective equipment was not worn by employee(s) in all operations where there was exposure to hazardous conditions: An employee performing excavation work on the Washburn University Campus proximal to 1700 College in Topeka, Kansas was not using eye protection to prevent exposure to eye injury. Torgeson Trenching, Inc. dba Torgeson Trenching Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.28(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 950412, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/06/2014, with respect to a workplace located at intersection of Eighth and MacVicar in Topeka, Kansas.
