29 CFR 1910.179(i): Crane(s) equipped with a power traveling mechanism were not provided with a gong or other effective warning signal: On or about March 13, 2014, and at times prior thereto, in the welding and fitting areas overhead cranes were operated by a remote control device to lift heavy steel parts and were not provided with the means (audible alarm or strobe light) to warn employees working in the areas when the cranes were on the move. Employees were exposed to struck-by hazards.
