29 CFR 1926.55(b): When administrative or engineering controls were not feasible to achieve full compliance, protective equipment or other protective measures were not used to keep the exposure of employees to air contaminants within the limits prescribed by 29 CFR 1926.55: Location: Worksite Employee was assisting in concrete floor cutting operations and was exposed to a crystalline silica 8-hour time-weighted average of 1.6 mg/m3, 2.2 times the exposure limit of 0.714 mg/m3. The employee was not wearing any respiratory protection.
