29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Safety programs shall provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employers: a.On or about March 11, 2014, at the above addressed jobsite, a company official, working on the site with the employees, failed to recognize the need for and requirement of fall protection. Laragh Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315157925, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on July 14, 2011 with respect to a workplace located at Five Oaks, Lot 6 in Frankfort, IL.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure: a. On or about March 11, 2014, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were exposed to falls from 10 feet to 30 feet while installing the roof trusses and roof sheeting. Laragh Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315157925, citation number 1, item number 3c and was affirmed as a final order on July 14, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at Five Oaks Lot 6, Frankfort, IL.
