Powered industrial truck operators did not receive initial training in accordance with paragraph (l) of this section: (a) At Darford Holdings LLC on or about March 12, 2014 employees were driving fork lifts without having been provided training that covered the elements of 29 CFR 1910.178(l)(3)(i), (ii), and (iii). Training did not cover truck related topics, operational related topics, and did not include quidelines for when trucks should be removed from service based on needs for repair. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
