29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system: (a) Jobsite, 1401 Cranberry Woods Drive, Cranberry Township, PA 16066: On or before March, 14, 2014, employees were working unprotected and exposed to fall hazards of approximately 14 feet 11 and one quarter inches while on a flat roof. The employees were preparing the roofs surface to apply roofing materials.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(4)(i): Each employee on walking/working surfaces was not protected from falling through holes (including skylights), more than six feet (1.8 m) above lower levels, by personal fall arrest systems, covers, or guardrail systems erected around such holes: (a) Jobsite, 1401 Cranberry Woods Drive, Cranberry Township, PA 16066: On or before March, 14, 2014, employees were working unprotected and exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet 3 and one quarter inches while on a flat roof near a floor hole. The employees were preparing the roofs surface to apply roofing materials. The employer Jottan-Jorel, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.652(b)(4)(i), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 701138, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 04/01/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 25 Pace Boulevard, Warwick, RI 02886.
