OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards: On or about March 19, 2014, employees were exposed to struck by hazards from vehicular traffic when walking haul trucks. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to develop and provide an effective traffic control plan, to warn pedestrians and truck drivers of active traffic on site and include but not be limited to: suitable cautionary traffic signs.
