29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladders length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) At Front of House 2120 West Farmville Rd Auburn, Alabama: On or about March 20, 2014 and at times prior; the employer failed to ensure an extension ladder used by employees to gain access to and from the second level of the house had its rails extended at least three feet past the landing area exposing employees to a fall hazard of 13 feet to the ground below.
