29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a)  At 2120 West Farmville Rd Auburn, Alabama (Rear of House):  On or about March 20, 2014 and at times prior; the employer failed to ensure employees decking a roof on a residential home had fall protection exposing them the a fall hazard of 18.6 feet to the ground below.  b)  At 2120 West Farmville Rd Auburn, Alabama (Front of House):  On or about March 20, 2014 and at times prior; the employer failed to ensure employees decking a roof on a residential home had fall protection exposing them to a fall hazard of 18 feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladders length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  a) At Front of House 2120 West Farmville Rd Auburn, Alabama:  On or about March 20, 2014 and at times prior; the employer failed to ensure an extension ladder used by employees to gain access to and from the second level of the house had its rails extended at least three feet past the landing area exposing employees to a fall hazard of 13 feet to the ground below.
