29 CFR 1910.37(a)(4): Safeguard(s) designed to protect employees during an emergency (e.g., sprinkler systems, alarm systems, fire doors, exit lighting), were not in proper working order at all times.    Mud plant, south main door and compressor area, on or about 17 March 2014 and times prior thereto; two instances were noted where the emergency exit lights were inoperative:        a. South main exit door emergency exit lights were inoperative.        b. Adjacent to the compressor area; the emergency exit lights were inoperative.     This condition exposed employees to delays in exiting the building and smoke inhalation, fire, and tripping hazards.
