29 CFR 1926.1052(c)(12): Unprotected sides and edges of stairway landings were not provided with guardrail systems which met the criteria contained in Subpart M: On or about March 25, 2014, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards approximately 10 to 11 feet by ensuring a guardrail system was in place on all unprotected sides or stairway landings. Employees were working on the second and third floors near stairway landings/openings without fall protection systems in place. Guardrails were installed along the open sides and edge between the roof and third floor. ACE BUILDING SERVICES, LLC., WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, 29 CFR 1926.1052(C)(12), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 809981, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 003, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON MARCH 14, 2013 WITH RESPECT TO A WORK PLACE LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF WEST 58TH STREET AND BRIDGE STREET, CLEVELAND, OHIO 44102.
