29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials and equipment to be made by a competent person(s): The employer allows workers to be exposed to hazardous conditions created by not conducting frequent or regular inspections. The most recent occurrence was at 987 Century Oaks Drive, Ballwin, MO 63021, where they failed to make frequent or regular inspections of the worksite to ensure all workers were in compliance with company safety and health policies and OSHA standards. The workers were exposed to an approximate 8-foot fall hazard at the front of the residence and a 16-foot, 9-inch fall hazard at the rear of the residence as they worked on the approximate 6:12 pitch roof without the use of an adequate fall protection system and/or fall arrest system. In addition, an employee failed to wear eye protection while operating a nail gun to perform roofing operations.
