29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(B): The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy: A) Paint Line 1 - On or about March 27, 2014, the energy control procedure for Showers-L1 did not include the requirement to isolate the overhead conveyor, did not provide clear instruction with regard to the requirement to lock or tag the gas supply valve and did not require lock or tag of the water supply. Deficient procedures potentially expose employees to hazardous mechanical, gas or water energy sources.
