OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing for likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fire and explosion hazards. On or about March 24, 2014, and times prior thereto, at the work site located at Basic Energy Services, LP, Rig# 1478, 6221 W. Poly Webb Road, Arlington, Texas: The Auxiliary Escape line was not installed prior to operations requiring employees to work in the derrick.
