(a) On or about March 27, 2014 at worksite 3501 S Leanord Rd Saint Joseph Missouri.- Employeees were exposed to a fire hazard in the machine shop acetylene gas cylinders which were stored in direct contact with oxygen cylinders.

(a) On or about March 27, 2014 at worksite 3501 S Leonard Rd, Saint Joseph Missouri.- employees in the laboratory were exposed to an electrical hazard when using a Black and Decker toaster oven listed for household use only, to bake circuit cards that were being produced for Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment. Employees stated they didn't use machine designed for commercial use to save money by using smaller toaster oven.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(1): Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment: (a) On or about March 27, 2014 at worksite 3501 S Leanord Rd Saint Joseph Missouri.- employees were exposed to an electrical hazard in the fabrication area, due to a collection of miscellaneous supplies to include gas and oxygen cylinders were stored in front of an electrical circuit breaker box. Work space was less than 30 inches wide in front of electric equipment. Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose.
