The employer did not provide employees with respiratory protection training prior to donning the respirator. Observed on or about September 3, 2014

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: a. 180 Waterworks Road, Coatesville, PA 19320: Employees (Laborers) were exposed to chemicals such as, but not limited to, Weld-On 719 Low VOC PVC Plastic Pipe Cement while placing end caps on filters. The employer did not provide employees with training concerning the requirements of the hazard communication standard prior to job assignments where they may contact hazardous chemicals. Observed on or about September 3, 2014
