29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail systems, warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: (a)Alberto Ramos Roofing at 215 at 215 E. 7th St., Loveland, CO 80537: The employer did not ensure each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems. The employees were engaged in roofing activities without the use of any fall protection system. This condition exposed to fall hazards of up to approximately 9 feet.

CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards: (a)Alberto Ramos Roofing at 215 at 215 E. 7th St., Loveland, CO 80537: The employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in construction activities had been trained to recognize the hazards associated with working at elevations over 6'. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. Employees working on-site had not received fall protection training before working at elevations over 6 feet. This condition exposed employees to the hazard of falling from an elevation of up to approximately 9 feet.
