OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(A)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to injuries from fall hazards when employees are elevated on a platform that is attached to the forks of a forklift and the platform is not secured to the lifting carriage and/or forks:     a)  299 Cluckey Drive, Harrington, DE - Employee was working from a personnel platform that was not firmly secured to the lifting carriage and/or forks of a Caterpillar Cat 50 forklift, Model Number GP-25, Serial Number 5AM97953; violation occurred on or about April 2, 2014.    Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to secure the personnel platform to the lifting carriage and/or forks.
