OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees who are exposed to cave-in and/or crushed-by hazards: Where the employer did not ensure that up to date blueprints, which contained the engineering specifications for the structural integrity of the construction underpass of Building II Section B, were provided to the framing contractor who was erecting the construction underpass. Employees working near and around the building were exposed to the hazards of being struck and/or crushed by a collapsing section of the building.
