29 CFR 1910.23(d)(1)(ii): Stairway(s) less than 44 inches wide having one side open, did not have at least one stair railing on the open side:    a. In the yard storage building, the stair/hand rail to the second floor was in disrepair; nails were pulled loose and the rail was not secure at the bottom and top of the rail (only attached in the middle).     Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citation(s).
