29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means: a) At 4313 Oak Bowery Rd Opelika, Alabama: On or about March 31, 2014 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to engage in roofing activities directly under an uninsulated, 7260 volt power line without first ensuring the power line was de-energized or guarded exposing his employees to electrocution hazards.
