29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about March 10, 2014: a)Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 21 feet to the outside wall, and approximately 30 feet into the basement section, while installing roof trusses and hangers within the attic section of an under new construction residential home without the use of any fall protection measures. b) An employee performing sawing operations was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20 feet to the basement area when wall openings were not properly guarded with fall protection measures.
