29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  On or about April 3, 2014 and a times prior thereto, employees engaged in plastering and painting activities were exposed to unprotected fall hazards: a) from the entrance canopy exposing employees to a fall up to approximately 12 feet; b) from the second floor balconies and stairway landings exposing employees to approximately an 11 foot fall; c) from the upper stairwell landings exposing employees to approximately a 16 foot fall; and d) from the third floor balconies exposing employees to approximately a 22 foot fall.
