29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): When the employer had assessed the workplace hazard(s) and determined that hazard(s) were present, the employer did not select and/or use the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment: Job site at 875 Washington Ave., Carlstadt, NJ: A technician, who was standing in close proximity to the X-Large furnace and was not wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment such as, but not limited to, fire retardant clothing, and sustained third degree burns to his back, on or about 04/07/14.
