29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:   a) On or about 4/09/14, on the roof of apartment building under construction at the north end (running perpendicular to Transit Rd.) of the Transit Pointe Senior Apartment Complex, 8040 Roll Rd., Clarence, NY: Two employees were exposed to a potential fall of approx. 27 ft. while installing plywood sheathing on the northwest section of the roof. The employees were wearing full body harnesses but were not tied off to anything. No other fall protection system was utilized to protect the employee.  b) On or about 4/09/14, on the roof of apartment building under construction at the north end (running perpendicular to Transit Rd.) of the Transit Pointe Senior Apartment Complex, 8040 Roll Rd., Clarence, NY: One employee was exposed to a potential fall of approx. 27 ft. while repairing a broken truss on the southwest section of the roof. The employee was wearing a full body harness, but was not tied off to anything. No other fall protection system was utilized to protect the employee.  c) On or about 4/09/14, on the roof of apartment building under construction at the north end (running perpendicular to Transit Rd.) of the Transit Pointe Senior Apartment Complex, 8040 Roll Rd., Clarence, NY: One employee was exposed to a potential fall of approx. 27 ft. while helping to push a truss westward on the south roof, and walking across the roof. The employee was wearing a full body harness, but was not tied off to anything. No other fall protection system was utilized to protect the employee.   NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
