Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.     (a)  On April 10, 2014, at a jobsite site located at 125 NE Parks View Ct, Lees Summit, MO., Employees engaged in residential re-roofing activities were exposed to serious fall injuries, in that they were not using any Fall Protection or Fall Protection Systems. As a result, the employees were exposed to falls up to approx. 22 feet to the ground below.
