Approved vacuum cleaning equipment rated Class II division 2 was not used where employees are required to remove residual dry ingredients from machinery/equipment, platforms and the surrounding floor. b/ Dust Collection System Area: Mixing/Blending Room(s). Approved Class II, Division 2 electrical receptacles were not used in that standard electrical outlet(s) and light switch(es) were provided Class II Division 2 electrical receptacle(s) and portable electric equipment were not used when located within 25 ft. of a Class II Division 2 location. Observed on/or about 04/10/2014. 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): Places of employment were not kept clean and orderly and in a sanitary condition. a/ Advanced Food/Somerset NJ Site: Blending Room. Where dry ingredients (food product) are processed, the floor, the machines, machine components and electrical receptacles were not maintained free of combustible dust from the ingredients using approved equipment & procedures. Machines include but not limited to Ribbon/Paddle Blenders and Mixers. Observed on/or about 04/10/2014.
